The rapid evolution of railway transport to high speed systems for passengers and freight is not only based on the development of specific railways lines, but also, and more importantly, on new technologies for the construction of increasingly efficient locomotives in terms of consumptions and emissions, as well as of carriages that can provide the levels of comfort and safety expected by increasingly demanding passengers.
MARPOSS has been taking part in this evolutionary process by collaborating with the main manufacturers of machine tools used to manufacture high resistance and precise railway vans and axles. We supply systems for in-process and post-process part gauging and manufacturing process monitoring.
