Flexible contactless measurement for automotive glass
MAESTRO
MAESTRO™ is a flexible, non-contact robotized solution that measures the shape and edge of any type of surface in a single sweep. The measuring head integrates multiple types of sensors and technologies to inspect all surface characteristics simultaneously. When used on transparent materials, such as glass, (e.g. windshield, backlights, automotive or flat glass, ...) it also measures their thickness.
High metrological characteristics ensure a highly accurate measurement. MAESTRO can perform fast measurement cycles. It is suitable for both laboratory and production environments and can be customized according to the application requirements (i.e. number and model of robots).
In-Line: Suitable to measure glass characteristics directly on the production line. One or more robots working simultaneously grant tight cycle time.
Off-Line: Replaces expansive da complex measuring fixtures.
Lab: Available with a robot or cobot it is the correct choice for sample controls in every stage of glass’s design or production.
- Fast cycle time
- Creation of part programs from the 3D drawing of the glass
- Robot trajectory is automatically defined by the part program and is always perpendicular to the glass surface
- Automatic part program Xion
- Glass positioning error-free thanks to the automatic alignment of the robot on the measuring fixture
- Master integrated into the fixture
- Data collection and statistical analysis
- One software to manage both contact and non-contact sensors
- Taylor made solutions
