NEW BUILDING FOR MARPOSS GMBH (GERMANY)
INAUGURATION OF THE NEW PLANT
New headquarters and assembly building for Marposs GmbH at Weinstadt-Endersbach
End of May 2001, Marposs GmbH moved into its new headquarters and production building in Weinstadt-Endersbach.
The old plant at Fellbach, where Marposs had domiciled since 1973, was closed.
Weinstadt-Endersbach is about 25 km east of Stuttgart, conveniently located near the B29 expressway and the S-Bahn railway that links Stuttgart airport to Schorndorf.

The useful area of the new building, which also integrates the Baden-Württemberg sales office, is 5,733 m². The eye catcher of the new Marposs GmbH facilities is a four-storey glass tower that houses, besides a show-room and a modern canteen, a training center.
Construction started on April 10, 2000, and could be finished as planned.

At the new head office of Marposs GmbH, which attends to the customers in Germany, Austria, Czech Rep., Denmark, the Netherlands, and the Flemish part of Belgium as an exclusive distributor of Marposs S.p.A. (Italy), work approx. 115 employees.
The new larger and flexible facilities, particularly of the manufacturing area, will enhance and improve local engineering and production capabilities.
