RoHS

ABOUT THE DIRECTIVE 2002/95/EC "RoHS" REGULATING THE PRESENCE OF CERTAIN HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCES IN ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT

RoHS

The RoHS Directive of the European Community is meant to guarantee that the production processes of electronic equipment and the equipment itself be safer for the user, the manufacturer and the environment.
The Directive explicitly excludes from its scope finished products such as those manufactured by Marposs.

Marposs has always distinguished itself for paying a strong attention to the fundamental questions of public health and environmental concerns.Marposs has therefore defined and will consistently apply an internal policy on matters regulated by the "RoHS" Directive.

The internal policy pursues the voluntary and progressive removal of regulated substances from the products. It is subjected to revision to comply with the evolving regulations of the EU member States and to reflect the continuous improvement that Marposs design and manufacturing processes are constantly achieving.
