Software Technician

Responsibilities
The candidate, included in the software design team, will be responsible, in complete autonomy, for programming and managing software for industrial systems not only in the automotive sector, but also in the refrigeration, food and pharmaceutical sectors.
The main activity to which he/she will be dedicated will be to make client PCs communicate using Access databases and the PLC, Visual Basic/Visual Studio and SQL languages for data storage. In addition, will have to deal with after-sales technical support.

Profile
Candidates with the following requirements will be considered:

  • proven experience in the field of plant and industrial automation with good knowledge of electrical engineering and electronics and the ability to read an electrical diagram;
  • good skills in software programming, in particular: Siemens PLC, step 7 (and new updates), TIA portal and WinCC, Visual Basic/Visual studio, Access data base and Dot Net;
  • willingness to travel for a maximum of 30/40 days both in Italy and abroad (excluding areas considered at risk);
  • familiarity with the main applications in the Windows environment;
  • proficiency knowledge of spoken and written English;
  • ability to work in a team and to problem-solve and organise work even in tight deadlines
