WORK-PIECE SETUP

These probes are instrumental in pinpointing the exact workpiece position, particularly in sidewall thickness and enclosure flatness. We check five points on the sidewall to find the correct position, and four points on the top surface to evaluate flatness, ensuring compliance with specifications.

CONTACT TOOL SETTING

IN PROCESS TOOL BREAKAGE

Introducing Marposs' revolutionary GEMBR technology, which detects tool breakage during part manufacturing without loosing cycle time. GEMBR identifies the breakage of a 1 mm end milling tool with a cutting depth of 0.01 mm.

TOOL RUN OUT DETECTION

In the mass production of aluminium housings, there is a risk of chips accumulating in the tool holder. The resulting runout can leave chatter marks on the part that ends up being scrapped. Our tool run-out detection system can stop the process when chips as small as 10 μm are detected.
