EASY BOX EXPANDED LINE INTRODUCED AT IMTS 2010

Marposs introduced an expanded line of its Easy Box USB interface boxes for easy and economical management of measuring gauges at IMTS 2010.

Easy Box units enable connecting via USB, inductive and incremental transducers, Digimatic and serial gauges, thermocouples, pneumatic gauges and I/O signals. It can be used with the Marposs compact, embedded Merlin gauge computer, E9066 industrial computer, or with any commercial PC.

Three new Easy Box units are available:

• Easy Box U4E – to connect up to three incremental transducers such as linear probes, linear and rotary encoders, etc. The request for measurement acquisition can be sent by a host command through the USB port or, alternatively, by a footswitch, RS422/485 signal or a 24V signal through the trigger input.
• Easy Box U1 Air – featuring a built-in air/electronic converter unit that can connect a pneumatic gauge such as a bore gauge or a ring gauge. The adjustable zeroing and sensitivity controls make U1Air very flexible and easy to use, and allow connection of any kind of pneumatic gauges.
• Easy Box U4F-HR – allows connecting up to four Marposs standard full-bridge (LVDT) transducers, for applications requiring a very high measurement resolution.
