M39S - SCANNING SYSTEM "SINGLE LIP"

The use of Air to Electronic technology on Scanning Systems for the inspection of high precision matching components, is today finding a really wide diffusion in the production lines of injectors, injection valves and high pressure injection pumps.

For the measuring problems typical of these components, A/E technology guarantees sub-µm performances also in case of inspection of parts with really small diameter. On the other side, the scanning inspection assures that the shape errors of the matched components don't affect the functional behavior of the assembled unit.

A technical limit to this approach is however represented by the reduced capability of A/E measuring units to correctly inspect a part really close to the interruptions of a ground surface, positions where it's possible to find shape errors due to the machining process.

The choice to employ "Single Lip" measuring components on M39S Scanning System, allows to overcome this limit. M39S product line gets now rich of new solutions expressly defined to inspect with A/E technology almost the total length of the ground surface, in order to guarantee:

• Scanning inspection really close to edges (about 0.1 mm far from each edge)
• Scanning inspection of short lands (length about 0.3 mm)
• Measurement of distance between edges

The look, the flexibility and versatility of the system, besides the sub-µm performances typical of M39S, are always the same; its robust design make it predisposed for the use in the workshop environment, either for manual application or for integration into completely automated loading cells.
