OPENING OF THE NEW MARPOSS GMBH BUILDING

Marposs GmbH opened its new building in Weinstadt-Endersbach with a ceremony on October 22, 2001.



The unique architecture of the building gives an ideal atmosphere to realize ideas and concepts. This was expressed repeatedly in the speeches of the guests of honour.

Mr. Stefano Possati, President of the Marposs Group, explicitly emphasized that "...this building testifies unmistakably the obligation and determination of Marposs to be present in this important market...".In this respect the most important targets are sustainable and profitable competitiveness, high motivation of staff as well as operational excellence.

According to the Minister of Economic Affairs of Baden-Württemberg, Dr. Walter Döring, Marposs is demonstrating how an enterprise should orientate itself in today's global competition, namely:

• highest quality being the uncompromising target
• being close and within easy reach of the customers
• being "best in class" with its technology
• innovation of its products

In his greeting the Italian Consul, Dr. Mario Musella, emphasized above all the multicultural significance of the Marposs presence in the Greater Stuttgart area: "...You serve as model for the citizens of a multicultural Europe and create a workshop in which the integration of the nations is performed, the precondition of an authentic European union ...".




Among the guests Marposs welcomed were politicians such as Mr. Lässing, District President, Mr. Jürgen Hofer, Member of State Parliament, Mr. Jürgen Oßwald, Mayor of Weinstadt, as well as representatives of the banks, the local economy and the press agencies.
