CONVENTION ON MACHINE TOOL PRODUCT LINES OF MARPOSS GROUP

 

Given the success of the previous gatherings, the Machine Tool Product Managers Convention (PMC) took place from 10th to 21st February 2014.

Held in Marposs headquarters in Bentivoglio (Bologna) Italy, the event was focused on the following application lines:

• Gauging on Machine Tools (In Process, Post Process, Scanning)
• Wheel Balancing & Acoustic Sensors for Grinders Monitoring
• MMS - Marposs Monitoring Solutions for Cutting and Deformation Machines
• MIDA Probing Solutions

Two intense weeks of meetings, attended by 60 Product Managers and Specialists based in all the main Marposs offices worldwide and in other Companies of the Group (Artis, Brankamp, Dittel).

Besides updating on current product upgrading on new products, new applications, new services and on future developments, during a series of sessions, symposiums and round tables, the following topics were discussed:

• market situation and new requirements,
• how to reach the common goal to continuously improve Customer Satisfaction worldwide,
• common strategies and commitments of the Companies of the Group,
• coordination of global projects involving machine tool makers and end users from different Countries.

As part of the discussion, the Products Managers introduced their ideas about how to improve business and performances onto their local markets and shared with the colleagues case histories of common interest.

The convention received great acclaim and applause by all the participants, who were able to exchange with colleagues fruitful discussions, opinions and experiences.

Being deeply convinced that these meetings are essential to coordinate the strategies and to stimulate a wider and shared success of an increasingly group as Marposs is, we will meet up again soon for the next one!
