NEW QUICK BLOCK

Marposs introduces QB1000, the new compact block gage with ballcage dual-drive, suitable for measurements of diameters, grooves, cavities and for all those cases where a sensor in axial position cannot be used.

QB1000 is available in two versions:

- as complete single measuring unit with built-in transducer
- as simple mechanical transmission, to be used with pencil probes

This unit features the same overall dimensions of the current versions with ± 1mm and ± 2.5 mm measuring range, and is totally compatible with existing measuring accessories like probes and supports.
New springs and piston for pneumatic actuation have been specifically designed for it.

Metrological performance are excellent, especially the repeatability thanks to absence of radial clearance in the mobile part. This extends the applicability of the product, making it suitable for use even in extreme conditions with fingers L = 60mm, which can introduce measuring forces perpendicular to the measuring direction.
