M110 OPTOFLEX

The range of Marposs products dedicated to the dimensional inspection of shafts and shaft-like parts is now enriched with the addition of the new M110 Optoflex measuring machine. It is a flexible measuring system utilizing optoelectronic technology which allows for the inspection of a great variety of parts while performing many different types of measurements. The M110 Optoflex is designed to be used in the shop floor environment. Its characteristics of precision, reliability and speed, allow for its use as both an audit inspection station and for automatic in-line integration, with the possibility of feed-back to the machine tool. The measurement elaboration and statistical analysis is performed by use of the Marposs industrial PC E9066 gauge amplifier combined with Marposs Quick SPC measurement and statistical software.

By using shadow-casting optoelectronic technology, the following types of controls can be performed:

• Diameters (static or dynamic) of main bearings, pin bearings, flanges and their taper and roundness;
• Distances and widths;
• Check of grooves (minimum groove diameter, radius, width, position);
• Radial TIR with respect to mechanic or electric axis;
• Axial TIR with respect to mechanic or electric axis, performed using a contact LVDT probe;
• Stroke;
• Index.

The Standard version M110 Optoflex can cover the following ranges:

• Maximum shaft length - 800 mm (31.5")
• Maximum measurable diameter - 200 mm (7.87")
• Maximum shaft weight - 80 kg (176 lb)
