FROM EXCELLENCE TO THE FUTURE

The industrial fabric of the province of Bologna is full of companies able to compete in the respective field at a worldwide level. Six of them were involved by the Museo del Patrimonio Industriale (Industrial Heritage Museum) in Bologna in order to contribute to the renovation of the Hall "From Excellence to the Future".

Marposs accepted the invitation and prepared an interactive position where the public can see how to measure a micron that is a thousandth of millimetre.After showing how small a micron is through a few examples, it is explained why it becomes more and more important to measure it.
Thanks to the equipment manufactured by whom, such as Marposs, has the suitable technology and know-how the measurement becomes extremely simple and within anybody's reach.

The initiative is strongly intended for the young students who are an important part of the public visiting the Museum, and gives them the opportunity of integrating the usual school training path by learning through the Museum not only the history of the past, but also the prospects of the future.

The opening took place on the last December 14th and now the hall is open to the public.
