MARPOSS ACQUIRES KERN S.A.S. (PARIS, FRANCE)

Marposs is pleased to announce it has acquired complete ownership of Kern s.a.s. (Paris, France).

Kern s.a.s., present on the French market since 1954, is recognized as a leading company in the field of high precision mechanical gauges and assemblies used primarily in the automotive and aerospace industries.

Kern s.a.s. will continue providing its customers tailor made robust gauging solutions, mechanical assemblies and measuring equipment from the simple hard gauge to the automatic measuring machine.

Kern solutions are an ideal complement to the Marposs products and will enhance Marposs capability in the challenging French market.

This acquisition, together with the one in 2006 of Trace, French leading company in the design and manufacturing of leak testing machines, is also a clear sign of Marposs commitment to the French market.

Kern operates in Chelles, suburb of Paris, with a workforce of approximately 40 people.

All Marposs and Kern Customers will benefit from the product quality, the innovation and the service that have always been the core values for both companies.
