50TH ANNIVERSARY

During the month of July 2002 Marposs celebrates the 50th Anniversary of its foundation.

Mr. Stefano Possati, President, remembers with pride how in 1952 his father, Mr. Mario Possati, started the Marposs company creating the first electronic comparators for in process gauging on grinding machines.

Marposs has since grown to become a market leader in gauging with several product lines and over 1,700 employees working in 65 locations within 32 countries.

Obtaining these prestigious results constitutes an even greater stimulus for Marposs to achieve new and more important goals.
