NEW TWIN PROBE SYSTEM AT EMO 2007


Following the successful launch of the smallest available optical spindle probe, Marposs OP32, combined with the Pico Laser for use on micro-milling machines and small work stations, now Marposs Mida product line presents a new winning combination:
the "Twin Probe System" consisting of the OTS30, ORI and E83WA.With the introduction of the new Marposs OTS30 optical transmission tool setting probe connecting cables in the machining area are no longer necessary.
The new very small tube type ORI, Optical Receiver Interface, is able to manage both, OTS30 tool setting and E83WA part inspection probes in the same machine.
The OTS30 is a very robust, high precision probe which caters for a wider range of applications than wired probes. While wired tool setting probes prove to be rather difficult to install on machines with rotary tables or twin pallets due to the restrictions imposed by the connecting cable, the OTS30 is exceptionally suited.
In addition to its excellent repeatability and sturdy design, the Marposs E83WA and ORI have a large transmission envelope.
