M1 STAR: MECHANICAL BORE GAUGE

Marposs S.p.A launches a brand new line of highly advanced manual mechanical measuring plugs for bore inspection.

The new line, M1 Star MBG (Mechanical Bore Gauge) developed by Testar a Marposs Division, allowing the use of any type of measuring display unit offers the right solution for a wide range of applications.

Using M1 Star MBG you can perform highly accurate measurement by simply inserting the plug in the bore thus inspecting diameter, ovality and taper. With the complete line you can measure bores from 3 to 300 mm and reach measuring depths of 500 mm or more.

A wide range of measuring contacts made of different materials allows the inspection of virtually any type of ground or turned part.

M1 Star MBG can be used with pencil probe, dial or digital indicator of any maker with 8 mm or 3/8" clamping diameter.

The unique total modularity of the measuring head allows an easy retooling or reconditioning without the need of sending the unit back to the manufacturer. This operation can be performed directly by yourself only purchasing a new set of contacts and nosepiece. Finally a very cost effective solution.

M1 Star MBG wide versatility and modularity makes this new bore gauging line the best solution for any measuring requirement also thanks to a wide range of accessories: depth extensions, handles, right angle adaptors, rotary spacers, depth stops.

To periodically calibrate the measuring plug Marposs SpA has also included in the M1Star MBG catalogue the necessary setting rings made according to DIN 2250-C standards.
