Technical Sales / Sales Engineer (m/f/d) in the field service - Business Unit "Machine Tools" -

What you can expect

  • New customer acquisition and cold calling, as well as development of OEMs and end customers in the metal industry in the sales area of MARPOSS GmbH with a focus on southern Germany
  • Support of key customers in the entire territory of Marposs GmbH (D, A, CZ)
  • Support/expansion of an existing customer base in the sales territory of MARPOSS GmbH
  • Conducting sales talks and technical consultations until the sale is closed 
  • Carrying out market and competition analyses
  • Close co-operation with product management, internal sales and project planning
  • Preparation and processing of quotations, orders and specifications
  • Carrying out sales promotion measures, such as trade fairs, training courses and presentations

What you bring with you

  • Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or automation technology or training as a master craftsman or technician with professional experience
  • Several years of sales experience - preferably in the field of machine tools or machining technology
  • Confident handling of MS Office 
  • Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
  • Strong analytical thinking, ability to work in a team and initiative
  • Competent appearance as well as a high degree of customer orientation and negotiating skills
  • High willingness to travel (primarily southern Germany), driving licence class B
