MIDA “WRG” WORLDWIDE RADIO TRANSMISSION BORE GAGE AT IMTS 2010

 

Marposs introduces its new Mida WRG bore gauge with radio transmission for world-wide use at IMTS 2010. 

Wireless bore inspection on machining centers has never been so quick and accurate. Marposs WRG is stored in the CNC tool magazine and loaded to the spindle by the tool changer for checking the bore size. WRG is the new Marposs radio transmission bore gauge for part inspection and dimensional control on machining centers. Robust and precise, it is suitable for mass production.

WRG is a wireless gauge system based on radio frequency transmission technology not requiring line-of-sight between the transmitter and the receiver. It assures precise bore inspection in the typical machine tool environment and it is not affected by the internal machine lighting.

WRG communication system is fully compatible with WRP touch probe. The system automatically searches the best signal among 79 available radio channels in order to guarantee optimum communication between transmitter and receiver. The channels are isolated among each over allowing the use of multiple bore gauges and touch probes on the same machine just by selecting specific NC codes.

Marposs P7 and E9066 amplifiers can be connected to this new gauging system to control the whole production process and display measure results, plug recoil status, battery status, radio channel in use, part status and statistical data.
