California Proposition 65
California Proposition 65 is known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986. It refers to the California legislation intended to protect California citizens and the state’s drinking water sources from chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects and other reproductive harm. It is also to inform citizens about exposure to such chemicals.
