MARPOSS UK CELEBRATES 30 YEARS

In 2006 Marposs celebrates 30 years of business in the UK. The Company was established in 1976 by the now Managing Director of Marposs S.p.A., Mr Mario Gelsi.

From the initial group of 10 people that opened an office in Coventry City Centre, the Company has grown to approximately 30 people and moved to custom built premises at Binley, Coventry in 1991. Several members of staff in the UK have been with the company for over 25 years and it is this stability combined with the ability to embrace new technologies that has ensured our continued success.

Innovative measurement and process control products combined with a professional and committed people formed strong business relationships in the early years with Landis, Ford and many others. These relationships are still key to the operations today whilst new business generation is helping to ensure growth.

During the last 30 years manufacturing in the UK has continuously evolved and is now a technologically advanced and demanding manufacturing environment. Marposs UK understands the needs of this environment and by using interpersonal skills has continued to grow relationships with existing customers and develop new contacts in new business sectors.
