MARPOSS VIP

Thanks to a commercial agreement with Horst Knäbel GmbH, Marposs distributes this product world-wide with the exception of Austria, Canada, Germany, Mexico and USA.

Marposs VIP motorized manual plug completes the range of products available for cylinder head inspection, performing measurements after bushing insertion with 2 transducers (one on the valve seat, perpendicular to seating surface, and one plus a mechanical reference on the valve guide). Measurements performed include:

a) Run-out between Valve Seat and Guide
b) Valve Seat Roundness

Marposs VIP is also available in a version able to perform the pre-bushing inspection with 3 transducers (two on the valve seat and one plus a mechanical reference on the valve guide) which include:

a) Parental Valve Seat Diameter
b) Concentricity between Parental Valve Seat and Guide

Normally a full application is comprised of:

• 2 plugs (one for intake and one for exhaust bores)
• 1 single interface capable to manage them both
• inox masters
• industrial PC E9066 complete with application software and start cycle box
