MILLENNIUM AUTOMATION ACQUIRED BY MARPOSS CORPORATION

Marposs Corporation of Auburn Hills, Michigan announced that it has acquired Millennium Automation of Fremont, California to expand its commitment to the disk drive and high technology industries. Millennium commenced operations in 1996, providing automation support to a variety of industries, with a focus on the disk drive industry. Millennium's expertise is in packaging gauging devices for implementation into manufacturing operations, carbon dioxide cleaning systems and material handling, including robotic and vision system integration.

Jack Dunda, the President of Marposs Corporation, USA stated: "We developed the OptoFlex Inspecting and Adjusting System in partnership with Millennium. During that process we recognized the synergy between the two companies. This transaction will increase our support to our high technology customers, especially those in the disk drive industry. By having a presence in the Silicon Valley, we will be more responsive to the needs of the industry."

" According to Mr. Dunda, Mr. Adams and his specialized design team will remain to operate the new division.
