Optoquick with Hall Sensor for Permanent Magnets Rotors

Marposs rEVolution represents a commitment to the continuous evolution of our products, adapting to the ever-changing demands of the electro mobility market.

The latest innovation applied to our Optoquick multi-sensor family is the possibility to combine dimensional measurements with magnetic field intensity analysis.

Optoquick, already known for its precise optical snap capabilities and optional 3D touch probe, can now be equipped with a 3-axis Hall sensor. This advanced sensor allows us to measure the magnetic field intensity relative to the rotor's angular position, at varying distances from the magnets, and at different heights.

This new capability enables comprehensive mapping and comparison of various magnet defects, while also allowing us to correlate these findings with dimensional measurements. The Optoquick flexibility makes it an ideal solution for both R&D and production environments, aligning perfectly with the rapid advancements in rotor technology with  permanent magnets.

The metrological performance remains unaffected by the strong magnetic fields typically present in permanent magnet rotors. Our system combines a micrometer-level measuring capability with magnetic field intensity, ensuring accurate measurements regardless of magnetic interference.

This allows you to easily check the magnetic field's phase in relation to a dimensional angular reference, making it possible to compare different sections by amplitude or phase. Additionally, data can be quickly acquired for more complex analyses performed by R&D teams using specialized software.

Continuous software development ensures that you have access to the latest updates, allowing rapid testing of rotor prototypes and keeping production up to date with the latest performance standards.
