NEW ORI AT EMO 2007

Following the successful launch of the Marposs OP32 last, combined with the Pico Laser for use on micro-milling machines and small work stations, Marposs today presents a new winning product from the Mida line: the new ultra compact optical receiver "ORI" suitable to be installed on small machine mounting it into the machine panels.

On machining centre and milling machine it can also be installed into the spindle head, thus allowing measurement also on 5-axes milling machine.

Optical transmission between spindle probe's Transmitter and ORI is guaranteed for both type of installation, thanks to the wide angle characteristic of the ORI.

LED on ORI's mini panel signal the most important information (battery low, error, touch). A miniaturized air blow system provides cleaning of the glass cover, eliminating possible chips and coolant waste.

Furthermore the new ORI optical compact receiver is able to manage both OTS30 tool setting and E83WA optical transmission part inspection spindle probes in the same machine. In fact the system has the ability to manage up to a maximum of two probes.
