MARPOSS AND COVID-19 EMERGENCY

Marposs is a successful and growing Italian based Group of Companies with direct Operations in twenty five different countries all over the world and has in its DNA a highly developed global awareness.

 The recent CoViD-19 health emergency has been in our focus since its first outbreaks in January 2020 in China and we have been directly involved in every aspect of the local management of the emergency in order to minimize any impact on our Chinese operation where we have almost 700 personnel employed.

Our main local production plant in Nanjing as well as our nine Sales and After Sales offices are now back to being  fully operational and we were able to reduce any impact to both local direct supplies and to any sub-supply within Marposs Group.

The recent increase of CoViD-19 cases in Italy has not caught us unprepared. We implemented at the end of January preventative safety measures involving fourteen days voluntary quarantine to any person visiting our plants from China and immediately put in place the recommendations of local authorities with the target to eliminate any risk of infection extension.

Marposs HQ is located away from the two zones where the primary infection was discovered and no evidence of infections has been confirmed in our area to date.

We are fully convinced that all measures taken so far form a guarantee of protection for all Marposs stakeholders including Employees, Suppliers and Customers and that we have reduced to a minimum any impact to our normal operation and activity.

We are eager to keep our level of service as well as support to our valued Customers globally at the usual high level of efficiency.
