M2016

The broad range of products Marposs is offering as flexible measurement systems is now enriched with a new solution thanks to the M2016 machine. It represents the renewal of a product line previously provided in the past with hundreds of applications, and now it has been redesigned using the most modern technologies to date.

Crankshafts, Camshafts, and Transmissions Shafts can be measured on this machine. A wide range of measurements can be performed which includes diameter and length checks, geometrical checks, shape checks along with many others.

The system uses contact technology: 2 fingers move along the part to effectively sample the whole work-piece in order to perform all the measurements required.


At the end of the measurement cycle, the E9066 computer elaborates all the acquired data, which provides the part status and if needed, feed back to a machine tool.

Designed for the shop floor, the machine can either be integrated in a fully automated line, or used as a final inspection gage, with the complete cycle managed by an operator. The high level of metrological performances make it suitable not only as an inter-operational gage, but also as a final inspection machine.
