40TH ANNIVERSARY OF MARPOSS GERMANY

In 1962 Marposs S.p.A. decided to establish its first subsidiary abroad: Marposs GmbH was founded in Frankfurt/Main. It started with only 6 people and, thanks to its employees' dedication and commitment, it has steadily grown through the years into what it is today: an organization with about 160 people.

In 1975 the stronger presence of the automotive industry and of the machine tool manufacturers in the Baden-Württemberg region led to the relocation of the Marposs GmbH offices in Fellbach/Stuttgart. In time Marposs GmbH managed to widen its responsibilities from sales and service only to design, development and assembly of measuring equipment according to specific Customer's requirements.

In Spring 2001 Marposs GmbH moved to its new building in Weinstadt/Stuttgart.

Full coverage of Customers is now guaranteed by a capillary presence throughout the whole Germany with offices in Hannover, Chemnitz, Krefeld, Frankfurt, Weinstadt, Memmingen and München. Moreover, Marposs GmbH directly controls the Marposs subsidiaries in Austria and in the Netherlands.

Therefore this anniversary is something to be proud of and a stimulus for doing even better in reaching our future goals.
