SAP ABAP Developer - Senior

Responsibilities

The candidate, within the Information Systems Department. will be responsible for managing the SAP infrastructure of Marposs Group:

•     interfacing with the data-center that hosts its servers
•     supervising the management of ABAP customizations that may be necessary for specific MARPOSS processes not covered by standard SAP solutions
•     collaborating with system engineers who are specifically responsible for group networking
•     cooperating with colleagues who develop MARPOSS model applications that are not included in SAP solutions
•     cooperating with both functional consultants and colleagues supporting MARPOSS users
•     sharing with the management the roll-out objectives of the SAP solution in the other companies of the Group.

Short trips to the Group's offices in Italy, Europe or the rest of the world may be required. following the roll-out activities.

Profile

It is requested a university degree in computer science or computer engineering with 3-5 years' experience in the development of SAP ABAP solutions, with good knowledge of ABAP system aspects. The profile can also be extended to IT experts with significant experience in the same field.

•     good knowledge of spoken and written English
