P3ME is supplied as stand alone unit to be installed on the top of the machine or in a rack version shape to be integrated inside a machine’s panel. The gauge features can be adapted according to the application and part type.

External grinder

• Smooth part control
• Part with interrupted surfaces control thanks to additional elaboration board
• Part position check
• I/O inputs for measure compensation
• Head’s finger retraction management (Marposs’s heads contacts are retracted to avoid any interference with the part during the head movement)

Internal grinder

• Smooth part control (Marposs head is always touching the part)
• Control of workpieces with interrupted surfaces or head/wheel reciprocating movement, thanks to additional elaboration board
• I/O inputs for measure compensation
• Head’s finger retraction management (Marposs’s heads contacts are retracted to avoid any interference with the part during the head movement)

Surface grinder

• Smooth part control (Marposs head is always touching the part)
• Control of workpieces with interrupted surfaces or Marposs heads moving up and down the part, thanks to additional elaboration board
