50TH ANNIVERSARY OF MARPOSS IN THE USA

 

Marposs Corp. recently commemorated the 50th anniversary of its founding in North America by hosting a 3-day Open House event for customers, employees and family members. The event, held at the company’s Auburn Hills, Michigan headquarters, was attended by over 100 customers and members of the trade press.

Over 230 Marposs Corp. employees, retirees and family members enjoyed the “Family Day” picnic celebration held on the final day. Games conducted for all ages, including a new bocce ball court installed on the headquarters grounds lent a festive spirit, as did the delicious catered food and drinks.

During the Open House event, Marposs Corp. executives were presented with a plaque from the City of Auburn Hills, Michigan, commemorating the company’s 50 year milestone. Additionally, Marposs Corp. received a declaration letter from L. Brooks Patterson, the Oakland County, Michigan, county executive.

Rounding out the 50th anniversary event, the company’s newly renovated main conference room and showroom was unveiled. All in all, a memorable event commemorating a major milestone for the company’s first 50 successful years in North America.
