ARTIS GMBH INAUGURATED ITS NEW COMPANY BUILDING

On November 14th, Artis GmbH inaugurated its new company building in Egestorf, south of Hamburg.  
Established in 1983 Artis is the leading international company in the tool and process monitoring sector for metal cutting technologies. Since 2008 Artis has become part of Marposs Group as a result of the acquisition strategies implemented in the last years.

What the Group celebrated in Egestorf is more than a new company building, it is the inauguration of a new Marposs Business Unit, the center of MMS- Marposs Monitoring Solution. The aim of the group, indeed, is to create in this site the heart and mind of the most powerful and wide proposal worldwide in the field of Machine and Process Monitoring.

This new building with 3.600 m2 of floor space, was designed to offer a high level working environment and quality innovative equipments to support further growth of the Group in the future.

The inauguration was a three days celebration in Egestorf. About 50 selected guests including authorities, advisors and University members attended the official opening cerimony on Friday.
In the following days the doors of Artis and MMS building were open to welcome the employees with their relatives but also people of the area, to confirm the strict relationship between the company and the surroundings.
